How we make money
Every VPN reviewed here pays a commission when readers click our affiliate link and subscribe. We disclose this on every page. We rank on test data — not commission size.
If a VPN paying us 60% commission gets a 2/5, and a VPN paying us 10% gets a 5/5, the 5/5 ranks higher. Always.
How we test
- Speed: Real hardware, real ISP, three time zones, daily test for 7 days
- Streaming: Netflix US/UK/JP, Disney+, BBC iPlayer, Amazon Prime — tested last 30 days
- Privacy: We verify audit history (PwC, Deloitte, Cure53 reports), jurisdiction, ownership
- Apps: Tested on Windows 11, macOS 14, iOS 17, Android 14, Linux (Ubuntu 22.04)
